Resurrection Lutheran Church | Centerville, Ohio
PROJECT SUMMARY
Resurrection Lutheran Church is a small church located in Centerville, Ohio. The original building, constructed in 1985, was restricting the congregation’s growth. BBA’s response to the client’s challenge was to add the new narthex and sanctuary to the south of the existing structure. The sanctuary is now closer to the road, and the chancel is expressed as a thirty-six-foot tall half-cylinder. The new sanctuary accommodates 200 people, more than tripling the seating capacity.
