PROJECT SUMMARY

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, 10 Wilmington Place was originally built in 1855 as the Dayton State Hospital. It was renovated in the early 1980s to accommodate assisted living, independent living, and memory care residents. The renovations were designed to create a relaxing environment for both residents and families. The first floor consists of a Mini Mall that includes a post office, salon, fitness area, general store, chapel, café dining, and a cinema. The second floor features a library, TV viewing area, a second cinema, and an open dining room with access to the upper porch overlooking downtown.
